Longhorne Creek is situated just seventy kilometres south-east of Adelaide - the region produces some of the finest fruit in Australia and no doubt this was a decision that influenced the decision of Craig and Mignonne Willson to move there in 1985. A fifteen year period of investment and renovation resulting in the construction of a brand new winery in 2002 and the reward has been international acclaim for their wines. The winemaker is Craig’s daughter Rebecca, who is helped by her sister Lucy; in 2003 Rebecca was a finalist in Australia’s young winemaker of the year and she has scooped up 161 medals during the last six years.
